Lewis Creek Park 

 

For our first Fall walk, we return to an old favorite. More than 80% of this 55 acre park is preserved as undeveloped natural area. Located at the headwaters of Lewis Creek. the park offers 3 habitats to explore - wetland, meadow and forest - all accessible by friendly hiking trails totaling a litttle over 2 miles. Underfoot we will experience boardwalks, pavement, gravel and leafy dirt paths. There's some elevation gain, with a few hills, and we will choose our mileage according to the groups' inclination.

 

Meet in the parking lot nearest the Visitors Center(restrooms available) and use the Visitors Center as your gps location.

 

Enjoy our fall weather (whatever it may offer), and a lirrle socializing.Invite your friends, bring your onleash dogs,  and wear your Halloween attire. Optional post-walk coffee,etc. nearby.
