Hidden Figures (Michelle) Hulu The story of three brilliant African-American women at NASA who served as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in history: the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit in 1962, a stunning achievement that restored the nation's confidence, turned around the Space Race and galvanized the world.   Spotlight (Judith) Netflix A team of reporters and editors at the Boston Globe relentlessly investigate a shocking child molestation cover-up by the Catholic Church. The movie handles the sensitive topic as well as the real journalists who broke the story. The Office (Judith) Netflix The hit comedy that chronicles the foibles of disgruntled office workers -- led by deluded boss Michael Scott -- at the Dunder Mifflin paper company.  Endeavor – and other mystery series on PBS (Judith) PBS Channel 9 Mystery series.  Midsomer Murders (Stephanie) Acorn, IMDB (free: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0118401/) A veteran Detective Chief Inspector and his young Sergeant investigate murders around the regional community of Midsomer County. McLeod’s Daughters (Stephanie) Amazon Prime An Australian television drama (soap opera) that takes place on a ranch in the Outback run by five women.  Very fun. Royal House of Windsor (Judith) PBS Channel 9 The story of England’s royal family over the last 100 years, providing a fascinating behind-the-scenes insight into how the Windsors have weathered four generations of crisis, and the secrets of their survival. All American (Joanne) Amazon An American sports drama television series inspired by the life of professional American football player Spencer Paysinger. Friday Night Lights (Stephanie) Amazon Prime An American sports drama television series inspired by the 1990 nonfiction book by H. G. Bissinger, adapted as the 2004 film. DA 5 Bloods (Joanne) Netflix Four African American vets battle the forces of man and nature when they return to Vietnam seeking the remains of their fallen squad leader and the gold fortune he helped them hide. Kim’s Convenience (Bobbie) Netflix While running a convenience store in Toronto, members of a Korean-Canadian family deal with customers, each other and the evolving world around them.
