Join us for a Thursday Virtual Coffee Chat to find support, motivation, and inspiration for a positive fitness lifestyle.
Our featured guest, Judy Stone-Goldman, is a fitness instructor who has shaped her "third act" around health, exercise, and connection with self. After a career in academia teaching at the University of Washington and working as a speech-language pathologist, she transitioned to retirement unsure of her future goals. Her life-long enjoyment of teaching and exploration of new fitness options led her to become certified as a group fitness instructor through AFAA (Athletics and Fitness Association of America©) and as a SilverSneakers© instructor. Judy also went on to learn tai chi at the Yang Chengfu Tai Chi Chuan Center, where she now teaches and continues to study tai chi. Through all acts of her life, Judy has been an avid journal writer, which helps her ground herself on a daily basis.
