Fall is finally here, and what better place to see its beautiful colors than at the Kubota Japanese Garden, in the South Seattle section of Rainier Valley. The Garden is a spectacular, dynamic landscape of hills and valleys with water features like streams and waterfalls, bridges over ponds and the occasionally rocky cropping where one can sit quietly and simply bask in its beauty.
The well maintained paths are mostly paved and packed gravel and there are some gentle inclines. We will explore for about 1.5 hours - with enough time for lots of pictures - and then stop for lunch nearby, or perhaps picnic at the Garden, weather permitting,
We will travel by carpools; if you are interested in being one of our drivers please contact the organizer. The exact location of our meeting place in Bellevue will be determined later. The address of the Garden is: 99817 55th Ave South.
