- Narrative: Come explore the University of Washington campus with its beautiful Cherry trees. If luck is with us, the trees will be close to there peak on April 7th. We will meet at the South Kirkland Park and Ride and take the 10:08 AM Metro 255 bus to the UW Seattle campus. Meet at the park and ride bus pickup area. Look for Larry's red coat with green hood. The walk time has been extended to 1 PM to allow for the extra bus travel time. The cost for riders 65+ is $1.00 each way. The park and ride address is 10610 NE 38th Pl, Kirkland 98033. It is important to be on time since the bus is scheduled to leave at about 10:08 AM. We will catch the 12:42 PM bus back (scheduled to arrive at the park and ride at 12:54 PM). The group can decide regarding getting a snack on campus or back in Kirkland. Please add your cell phone number or another way to contact you to comments when you register so the walk leader can contact you on the day of the event. If you cannot attend after registering, please let the walk leader know.
