Our next walk will be a visit to the Center for Urban Horticulture which is located in Seattle at the UW campus and the Union Bay Natural Area. It is a wonderful little spot offering a near natural environment right in the middle of the city. It features meandering trails, park benches, and several ponds. A favorite for birders, more than 200 species have been spotted here - be sure to bring your binoculars! We can add mileage, if we wish, by continuing on to the UW campus by way of a foot bridge.
We will carpool to the CUH, meeting at the Queen Bee Cafe parking lot - the address is shown above; parking is available on Points Drive (and please note the new time.) We will return to the Cafe for our usual optional coffee, etc. snack. Well behaved dogs on leash are welcome. Please be sure to register so that we can plan the carpooling.
