Application Process and Resources

Applications will be available in January, 2020. You may sign up to be notified when the application becomes available. Beginning in January, you will be able to use a new, simple-to-use online application system. 

Please note: If you apply and are qualified for this program, you will still be required to pay some property taxes. The Department of Assessments is unable to estimate the reduction for you. If qualified, you will be notified of your exemption level, responsibilities as a recipient, and the amount of remaining taxes due after the exemption is applied.
